Reliance Jio is ready to launch its first 5G SIM in the country. The brand has made waves with its telecom launches. With the Jio 5G SIM, it will be one of the first brands to launch a 5G operated SIM in India. The company has claimed that they are ready to seamlessly switch the networks to 5G.
According to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), the Jio 5G SIM is said to be available and accessible in about 13 cities by the end of this year in India. Although there is no set date of launch as of yet, the SIM will be rolled out soon. Reliance Jio 5G SIM is made in India and is set to be available soon. The company is currently celebrating ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and as part of it, passing more information about their new launches in India close to the Independence day.
The telecom company is planning to roll out the SIM first in Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Pune, and Gandhi Nagar. It is speculated that the offered speed will be over 1Gbps. Jio proposes heat and 3D maps and more technologies to analyze 5G coverage and its usage patterns in various locations. Reliance Jio 5G SIM has already won a speed of over 1Gbps when it first started its trial but it is still to be tested how it will perform in the real-world amongst users. The 5G Jio network is said to achieve a download speed of 420Mbps and upload speed of 412 Mbps which is much faster than the 4G version. So, the Reliance Jio 5G SIM which has been much anticipated should be rolling out soon.
